Tread WS-2 This diamond plate tread is often used in industrial situations where OSHA requirements call for a non-skid surface. However, the fabrication details are such that the vertical surfaces of the tread are smooth plate steel rather than the usual bent diamond plate. This gives the tread a more finished look.

Closures Tread closures are an option for all WS and WA stairs except WS-3 and WA-3 designs. Fabricated of 18 gauge metal, they are cut to enclose the underside of the tread with a 1/4" reveal all around. Tread covers are fastened underneath using flathead countersunk machine screws into pre-threaded holes.
