Gallery Railings These are the level railings that protect the opening at the top of the stair. They are normally fabricated to match the stair rail. The most common types are picket style with horizontal pipe or hardwood capped top rail with horizontal channel sub rail, or double or triple horizontal pipe rail. Gallery railings can be made with toe rails for OSHA compliance, or with custom balusters or other ornamentation.

Railings Railings are available in round pipe, flat bar which can be covered with vinyl, or laminated hardwoods: oak, cherry, mahogany or birch. Each is constructed completely of hardwoods. Softwood cores are not used. Metals such as aluminum, steel, brass, bronze, and stainless steel are also available. Round pipe horizontal railings are available in either one-, two-, three- or four-line configurations.
