Design options for circular stairs Circular stairs require fixity at the upper and lower attachment points. Upon receipt of a firm order, we will supply calculations by a registered structural engineer which will determine the stair construction as well as the loads of the attachment points above and below. It is the responsibility of the installer to provide the attachment points and methods that are adequate to support these loads. Closed and open riser designs are available in both single and double helix configurations. For shipping purposes some stringers may be shipped in two pieces. Metal balusters can be side or top mounted.
